Care and Support Programme

The care and support programme strikes right at the heart of NATICC’s mission and combines the  other two programs into practical application for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.  It is a programme providing follow-up to clients who have attended VCT, providing them a place to find mutual support within their respective communities and chiefdoms.  To read the most recent report, click here.

Programme Objectives

To establish support groups in all the chiefdoms in the 14 Tinkhundla centres in the Shiselweni region.

bullet

To empower support group with relevant information on HIV/AIDS.

bullet

To educate PLWHA and community members about prevention, care, treatment and support services.

bullet

To empower support groups with knowledge of income generating projects.

bullet

To establish backyard garden for support groups.

bullet

To train support groups’ HIV/AIDS educators.

bullet

To engage support groups in community dialogues and to advocate for Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT).

Personal Testimonies
